So after a good and meaningful experience with raising "small" private investors, I want to jump into the deep water and try to recruit the big ones (institutional, foundations, big real estate companies, etc.).
Has anyone here experimented with this and can give directions where to start, what to know, how to make an appointment, what is important to prepare, etc., etc.?

In order to work with institutions, you need to show ability. They need to do a very comprehensive check on you both in terms of managerial ability, both in terms of financial ability and in terms of transaction history. If you ask the question you probably do not yet have the ability… Therefore, if you are an early entrepreneur who can reach one of the senior investment managers (such as Yoni Tal in Menora Mivtachim and its counterparts) you will need to bring with you a large body that knows how to work with institutional bodies.
Working with institutional investors is not easy, it is not at all similar and working with private investors, these bodies hold, economists, accountants, investment committees and first-rate law firms both in Israel and abroad. Eventually they also have the regulator… a very very difficult niche.
