Another construction worker fell and was killed. In China (seemingly a third world) this does not happen. No contractor dares to build without protective nets around for scaffolding. Each building has ground-level protective grids to the top.

China was a third world a few decades ago. By contrast, Israel became a third world state decades ago.
China is not a third world. The second largest economy in the world.

What confuses the brain. Only in China's high-speed tower (there is a famous video running on the network) were 47 workers killed. I did a tour in China and not in an organized setting, but privately and with the invitation of Chinese friends I acquired when I was working in Israel. Then you will know that in China there is no value to human life.
It is true that at the level of safety at construction sites in the country we have a lot to improve, but here we have value for human life and that is the essence of our difference.
