Consultation. Fence requires thorough repair due to material obsolescence Property from 2006 Does the required repair…

Consultation. A fence needs a thorough repair due to the obsolescence of the property material from 2006. Do you need to repair it at $ 680 or a total replacement at $ 1100? I will note that this year this specific property is producing lots of fixes… Attached are photos sent to me by the management company. I have attached 3 correspondence to the opinion.

The rear portion of the fence is old, deteriorating and needs repair.

The cost to repair the fence is $ 680. This will include:

install 11 metal post

repair 10 wood fence panels

replace 6 broken pickets ***

2nd vendor recommends is that we replace (if there is significant rotting) the 50ft of fence instead of repairing the wood panels and using 6 metal posts. His price is $ 1200.

3rd vendor agrees with replacing instead of repairing and will do the same for $ 1100.

Based on the feedback from 2 vendors repairing the fence would only be a temporary fix considering the age of the fence as well as the amount of deterioration, the probability of replacement in the near future is high.
