Entrepreneur of the Week Tali Kaplan # Post2
How many have already written, said, sung, shouted, cried over the concept of mindset of winners?
And yet the world is divided into those who are and those who are not.
Those who do and those who read (or not)
Those who run and those who stand (or sit)
Where do I see that there is a difference between those who do and those who do not? In one word perseverance!
Every profession in life has its own risk, being a teacher or a lawyer or a hitchhiker each of these has the risk that there is in his profession and with his choice.
In my humble opinion choosing to be an entrepreneur (no matter what field) has perhaps the highest risk, and the ability to risk * everything * for the opportunity to earn more.
The risk of sometimes not knowing where you are going and still going, the ability to believe in yourself when the whole world tells you otherwise.
Where is this school that teaches us to believe in ourselves despite all the odds? When the sky falls when everything is dark, when the heart is broken into a thousand pieces and when there is zero in the bank (and tomorrow you still have to pay)?
Some sentence points and habits I've gathered over the course of my real estate career that help me
If you are the smartest person in the room - replace a room.
ZA always try to surround yourself with people who are good or smart or more successful than you. From there will come ideas, inspiration and solutions to your problems.
Take advice from people who have already gotten where you want to go. Attack yourself with great mentors and pay them it will increase our steps and reduce mistakes.
2. It takes 20 years of hard work to become an “overnight success”
It's a journey of a thousand small steps. So it's better to start walking today - if we did not start yesterday.
3. There is nothing perfect. Not the perfect deal, not the perfect contractor, not the perfect partner and not the perfect day.
So there is no point in looking for or waiting for all the stars to line up to move.
4. Risk management - this is the most important thing in life!
It's true that there is nothing perfect - but that does not mean you jump in without knowing what to do.
Build a plan and put in braces and also know that sometimes there will be things outside the plan and braces. So what's the point?
That if there is no plan - surely we will not get there
And if there is - the statistics in our favor that we will reach - even if not as and when and stamp as we wanted. But we paved the way.
5. Preparation Preparation Preparation
The more we prepare this way, the greater our chances of success
"If I had eight hours to cut down a tree, I would dedicate six of them to sharpening the ax."
A. Lincoln
And, good tools are 90% of the work.
6. The most important task that every man and woman has in this life
STAND GUARD AT THE DOOR OF YOUR MIND
Do not let others decide what goes into your head. And throwing their mental waste on you it will poison you and stop you from moving forward.
7. FOCUS ISN'T SAYING YES TO THE THINGS YOU WANT- IT'S SAYING NO TO EVERYTHING ELSE!
8. Forgive ourselves.
We do not always do everything we want, sometimes we are not there for the people we love the most, sometimes we are impatient, sometimes our deals do not work out, sometimes people are disappointed in us sometimes we expect more from ourselves - and it does not work out in the real world.
Always but always remember that our intention is good and tomorrow we can improve.
Optimism is really the name of the game 😊
9. IF YOU WANT THINGS TO GET BETTER - YOU NEED TO GET BETTER!
The improvement will come only after we take responsibility for every aspect of our lives.
9. Discover the beauty and magic of being alone!
To love being with yourself, I am the most important person / woman that each and every one of us has.
Me time - must be blues
10. Purity of the word! One of the important writers.
Especially as Israelis working in the United States.
It went out to Israelis who work in the sand where bad-to-very-bad. There is no need to expand on that.
But for ourselves, for keeping our business for many years to come so that customers will flow in order to be a gold customer at suppliers and everyone will want to work with us. For great deals to come to us first. Preserve the purity of the word!
If we promised to do - do! If you have to pay - then pay and on time. If we did a good job - give a big tip. Any word fulfillment, timely payment or nice tip will promote you and your business far more than any marketing action.
People remember and appreciate when they behave respectfully when they pay on time when they keep their word. It's for your business, it's your differentiation, it's your ticket to the next deal.
Apologies if the post was long and without "proper study" content but preparing ourselves for the journey and sharpening the ax is an important step.
I have found that these points help me in my journey help me increase circles and help me stay sane even in very challenging times.
Meet in episode 3 😃
