# Entrepreneur of the Week Yaron Feldberg # Post 1
Hello to all the members of the group, my name is Yaron Feldberg, I am 43 years old and I am an investor, real estate agent and property manager in the area of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Pittsburgh area. The largest city in Allegheny County.
I've been dealing in real estate in the US for 6 years, the truth is I came to Pittsburgh by mistake. Dealing with the flooring industry 10 years before I came to the US. Even then I had a touch in the real estate industry in a certain way, I opened relationships with a lot of designers and architects and through them I was drawn to the world in design and architecture. In between I opened 3 businesses. The first was dealing with XNUMXD real estate simulations, the second was the last construction supervision before I left in graphic design whose uniqueness was my knowledge of marketing (strange but most of my clients were from the field of construction).
As far as I knew what real estate was, I had another life, I was in the high-tech field in 2 marketing and sales hats, 10 years. Degree in Business Administration, Service as a soldier in Nahal, Dyslexic in high school for learning difficulties and Bat Yam. Why am I telling this? I was told to tell about myself. So it's me. Imperfect, with specialization in mistakes, stubbornness, listening to my way and lots of self-learning. All I mentioned is layer upon layer of who I am and what I do today.
For the first half year I did renovations, painting, all kinds of repairs for a small management company together with a childhood friend of his big brother who bought houses with some friends. They found that their management company and those who bought the houses for them stole them, and as the affair unfolded it was discovered that more and more people had invested in properties or lost their money or found out we had bought houses with lots of problems or told them the house was empty (the company took the rent). . After that, I started to connect with a company that helped capital from these investors to try to save what is in the US.
I began to manage, renovate, and populate what was given. And help sell the homes of owners who had no money to bring them into a situation where money could be made from them. These 4 years have been my life. This is where my learning process for the world of real estate investing began. Not optimism and success. On the contrary from a lot of failures and all the possible mistakes that can be made in the industry. If you ask any of my clients, before I start working with them I must put them in a bassa. I feel like a father. I must warn them that there is evil in the world. Be careful and if they think about their steps it is possible to succeed. And real estate is like stocks. There is always a risk. The wisdom is to understand them, to know that they exist and to know that you are going to get hurt and lose money. The big picture you gain.
Today I manage the properties for about 70 people, 85% Israelis 16% local and 4% of my family. I got a real estate license 3 years ago because I was tired of giving a gift to real estate agents to sell properties that I had invested my soul in. And secondly because I found out after a nice year that I manage people's assets even though only 15 and no one else wanted to manage, I have to be a real estate broker. So I quickly got a real estate license, I manage the assets under the supervision of a licensed broker where I work under Your Town Realty. Today I am in a brokers course with big dreams to increase the management company and deepen my professionalism in the field further and further.
I was thinking what to write that would really contribute to the group here. I want to bring some of my knowledge to new people entering the US investment industry specifically in Pennsylvania. Rules, things to know, maybe a little basic. This is what I would more or less like to have a beginner investor guide when it comes to investing.
