No failures, no progress - Yaron Feldberg
# Entrepreneur of the Week Yaron Feldberg # Post 6
The truth is that it was an experience for me. I have been planning to write about the field for a long time, my day starts at 6am when I wake up and the first thing I do is look at the phone to see some missed messages and calls from the night. The second thing I do is make me coffee from my sexy Nespresso machine. I do not wake up if I do not drink at least 2 cups of coffee in the morning. Then it starts moving people, contractors, plumbers, lawyers, conversations with clients, property trips and then… 8pm, the last call… and all I want to do is hang up the phone and have breakfast.
I came to the United States as I said quite by chance. I had a girlfriend, half a year before I left who constantly wanted to leave the country, she just did not see her life in the country, if all the familiar reasons, living, difficult, expensive, etc. I actually, I had a good time in the country, I had a career and plans for the future. I have always worked hard and achieved my goals. And at my age, who even thinks of leaving everything, flying to the US, living there and starting all over again? At that time I would give myself a contradiction, ringing.
I can tell, and no one received me with flowers and released me a million dollars to start a business and upon entering America I was given the secret of how to succeed in life. I do not have wealthy parents who gave me money to do an adventure in America, I came if $ 6000 some compensation from the work and sale of the vehicle, Ford Focus 2008. Not to forget some debts in credit cards. I made a decision after I had a chance to try to do something in the US. Before I jumped on it, I did all the possible tests to make sure I arrived and I would not have entered, I knew what was going to happen in the first, second and third month .. After that I made sure there was Plan B and Plan C and if necessary there were also thoughts for Plan D.
Some people will say I am an anxious person and people will say I am a super calm and reassuring person. Everyone will be surprised by the second feature because he in his life did not experience me in the second situation. My experience has taught me that everything that sounds good has problems. And where there are problems there are solutions. Our whole life is calculating risks in one form or another. I do not pretend to be a real estate cannon or some guru for a happy life. I made the decision to come here to live a slightly more comfortable standard of living. The fact that I came to the US is not the reason for my success, I have a long way to go but I think I'm on my way there. But the road felt like this: big successes, a chain of failures, small successes, lots of self-learning and a little more failures and more learning and then a little complacency and then came the opportunity, that I do not know .. that I went for it. And after that psychic months to reset everything, and first drama, two months after that losses, then hard work and hope it rises, and boom losses and small steps and things start to stabilize and today I am here, a management company, a consultant to small investors who are slowly growing. 6 years, and still I do not think I can say that I am a real estate expert, but I work very hard to get there. And my clients are growing with me.
Someone once said, no failures, no progress. And this is the main message I can give to new people who want to enter the field whether it is to change place (like me) because maybe it changes place, changes luck or start an adventure in real estate investing. Nothing flows smoothly. You'll lose money all the time, you'll come out suckers, they'll steal from you and I can not guarantee you it will not happen to you, someday it will happen. And you have to be around with it. Real estate investments like investing in stocks and like in life. No one can guarantee that nothing will happen to you until your last day. It will happen and you have to be prepared for it. If you do your homework well you will succeed, and the road will not be easy you will have to learn to fight the right wars and know when to give up. If you work right, you are constantly losing money and in the big picture you are making more money than you lost. This is how it works.
I got to read a few posts here yesterday, the truth is I'm trying to diet on social media as well. I do not have time to waste on nonsense. Let’s face it, social networks have become a tool for wasting time for a long time, we all know that. Join me in a real estate group, I never say no. But I do not go in much. Special now that tomorrow I have a test on an advanced law in real estate, and to cut it short I have a lot more to do instead of logging into Facebook. But the truth is I was impressed with the group for the positive and wonder. I read from several entrepreneurs this week and just enjoyed reading the level of professionalism and quality. I'm used to real estate investment groups selling the sellers who sell "financial independence at $ 50", "guaranteed income" and such. I wanted to say to AVI BEN MORDECHAY who offered me to write, thank you for giving me the opportunity and raised my eyes. The truth is I think I got a lot more than I gave. I'm sure I'll be in touch here, and I'm sure I got to do a collaboration with friends here. There are amazing people here.
Every investor who enters the field I recommend digging in the topics. There are a variety of amazing people with amazing stories, cannons that know what they are doing. And most of all, humans. At the end of the day, we are human beings.
My name is Yaron Feldberg, my name is JOSH FELDBERG because Yaron is a complicated name for Americans and in any case it is my second name.
