The United States has a lot of real estate markets.
Some areas are at their peak and others are not yet recovered.
Miami For example - real estate prices fell by 50% during the crisis and from 2012 climbed back and actually corrected the fall in prices.
Cleveland - Real estate prices have fallen moderately by about 20% and since 2012 there has been an increase in prices.
Detroit - A collapse in real estate prices by more than 50% followed by a very massive correction
Seattle - In Seattle real estate prices have hardly dropped and as of today the index prices are at their peak.

With the help of the price graph you can see the current general direction of real estate prices.

Will the current direction continue? No one knows but at least one can learn from past experience.
