    Google plans to introduce ads in Gemini

    Amid reports that OpenAI has temporarily abandoned the idea of adding ads in ChatGPT, it’s now being reported that Google has informed advertisers it plans to introduce ads within Gemini.

    This isn’t surprising, considering that Google’s primary revenue source comes from ads. I just hope it’s done in a clear and transparent way — and not that the chatbot starts promoting products within its responses.
