How I Built Indiboots
#EntrepreneurOfTheWeek #Post1 – How I Built IndiBoots
In the previous post, I shared a bit about my journey.
This time, I want to share how I actually built IndiBoots, and why it was created in the first place.
Why did I build it?
It all started when I noticed the same problem happening over and over again:
There is huge demand from investors around the world who want to operate in Indianapolis —
but they get stuck on the small, annoying things that no one really provides solutions for.
Tasks like:
• Taking photos and videos of a property before purchase
• Installing a lockbox
• Doing property showings
• Checking a contractor’s work during renovations
Small things — but absolutely critical.
And in most cases, there’s simply no one to turn to.
That’s where the idea came from:
to build one platform that connects investors with reliable local boots-on-the-ground professionals who can handle all the small tasks no one wants to deal with.
And that’s how IndiBoots was born.
Step One – Building the Infrastructure (the Website)
Even before I hired a team, it was clear to me that I needed solid infrastructure.
I had zero prior programming knowledge, and decided I would just learn everything as I went.
I started learning how to build websites using AI tools, and within two months I built a website and a CRM system that fit my needs and included:
• Credit card processing
• Complex integrations
• Storage systems
• Emails and automations
Not perfect — but working, stable, providing real value, and most importantly, it saved me around $30,000 that I would have paid a developer.
Step Two – Building the Team
Here I had a very clear red line:
I only recruit people I’ve worked with before and trust 100%.
For that reason, I flew to Indianapolis and started recruiting one by one:
• Realtors
• Wholesalers
• Contractors
• Handymen
Everyone was recruited with a clear purpose, and each one went through one-on-one training with me.
Step Three – Marketing (the most important part)
And honestly?
This is the hardest part.
At the end of the day, people need to trust you.
Israeli investors — easier. There’s a natural connection, shared language, and built-in trust.
American investors — a different story entirely. You have to prove yourself much more.
To me, marketing isn’t just advertising.
It’s transparency, consistency, and keeping your promises — again and again.
In Summary
IndiBoots wasn’t built overnight.
It was built from a real problem,
with a simple solution,
a lot of work on the ground,
and the right people around me.
If this helps even one entrepreneur here think differently about services, teams, or infrastructure — I’ve done my job 🙌
Happy to answer questions 🙂
