This has been a very emotional week for me (and I’m sure for you too).
Yesterday marked the second national memorial day for the October 7th massacre.
I listened on the radio to families speaking about their loved ones they lost—
and I found myself crying just listening.
This week, I also watched three episodes of the series “Or Rishon” (First Light) – link
(highly recommended).
It’s been a fascinating week.
Thank you all for your private messages—it was a pleasure talking and connecting with so many of you.
I hope I was able to give you a different perspective on U.S. real estate investing (#נדלןארהב).
For those who haven’t yet bought their first property in the U.S.
This post is for everyone still sitting on the fence—
those who are afraid,
those who would rather buy in Israel but don’t have enough capital.
Don’t jump into the water—use the stairs.
Enter slowly, get used to the temperature.
I invite you only to learn, not to jump.
But remember—just like when entering a pool slowly,
you still have a goal to be fully in within a minute.
So set a target date for your first investment.
Otherwise, you’ll stay an expert on paper—standing outside the pool.
A Course That Changed My Thinking – Landmark
In 2019, I took a course called Landmark in the U.S.
What I took from it was taking responsibility.
From Google:
Landmark uses the metaphor of “the game of life” to describe the shift from being a passive spectator to an active participant.
This transformation means leaving the conceptual stands (“the bleachers”) and getting on the field—creating a new sense of freedom, power, productivity, and joy in life.

What I’m Doing These Days
I mentor Israeli investors (up to 3 at a time)
who invest in new villas in high-demand areas of South Texas.
The mentorship includes mortgage consulting and an additional year of support after closing.
On Learning
There’s so much great information online and in books.
There are also many excellent Israeli investor mentors who’d be happy to talk with you.
Just take small steps.
Set a goal—and stick to it.
