# Post 2 our beginnings, intuitions and chain of connections

The process of settling into this world (I’m still in the process (-:), is a process.
Everyone has their own way and their own pace.

In the beginning I set myself two serious barriers:
1. My English is not good enough
2. I have a little baby

The so-called I told myself restrictive stories, that I must partner that he will fly, that he will get along with the language and I will do what I am good at, investors, calculations, relationships.

So good morning, no.

I set out full of good intentions.

Even pretty soon I had an investor….
But when choosing partners from the wrong places it is hard to move forward and even stop and it gets stuck.

We are taught to check numbers, to see that the deal is working.

As for people, one should check pulse.
Here I take from my husband’s world that he is a couple therapist.
The motto in a relationship is the same emotional needs.
The motto in partnership is the same needs to succeed.

That is, the same passion, the hunger for the same success and the ability while investing the same.

I wanted to be 100%
Real Estate.
But I let my fears pick partners who were not right for me.

Belly, belly, belly
You need to listen to her, she knows.
Do not let any fear run us.

One morning,
I did a route recalculation.
I already knew a lot of good guys in the field and talked to them.

Throughout the process I knew I needed a real local partner.
I have seen that whoever succeeds has a local partner in the field and if not, he is a lot on the plane.

So the tuning was a local partner.

About a year and a half ago, I sat down for coffee with the late Talia from the north.
We worked on a collaboration between us in the field of rentals.

I tell Talia, the most important thing is that we have someone local who can be trusted. Someone to run with….

And we started rolling in the heads of people we know…
Suddenly Talia tells me, I have a nephew, he and his wife have done some real estate. Let’s talk to you ..

I look at her and say to her:
are you serious???

That’s how I met Sharon, and Roni the nephew.
Sharon came with 5 years of experience in flips.

At first we tested programming to work together.
Sharon and Ronny were temporarily in North Carolina.
I worked in Alabama.

After a month Talia informs me that they are moving to Alabama.
And that she stays in Philadelphia.
Use Sharon and Roni, she tells me.

Then came the change, my foreman did not meet the schedule of renovation.
I asked Sharon to come and inspect the property on my behalf.

From there it’s all history, the connection between us was amazing.
Professionally we complement each other and she knew how to take this renovation exactly where I wanted.

So it was a way to find each other.
The conclusion is always open…

It is not known where the opportunities are.
Relationships, relationships, relationships.

Talk, meet, ask questions and stay curious like children.

And yes, it’s a process.

In the following posts I will talk more about vision and change in vision, managing the right partnership, the team in the field and its motivation, investors, business development and mindset.

In the pictures, our two favorite assistants, Sharon’s children.
