Personal Introduction Post

Hi, I’m Bar – 47 years old, married to Shelly, and a proud dad to Yonatan and Yuli.
For me, entrepreneurship isn’t just a profession — it’s a deep inner drive that’s been with me for as long as I can remember.
At age 24, I left my job, invested all my savings, took out loans, and opened my first bar-restaurant.
It was my first real business adventure — full of excitement, but also full of naïveté and mistakes.
I had no business plan, no training, no experience — I jumped straight into the deep end.
And pretty quickly, I found out just how rough those waters can be.
The business collapsed.
I racked up debts and had to shut everything down.
But every ending is also a beginning.
I turned the page and flew to Hawaii, USA, where I started working in mall kiosks — and that’s where I launched my first U.S.-based business.
Only this time… I did everything differently.
Armed with the hard lessons from my past and a clearer vision, I moved forward with confidence.
Around that time, I met Shelly Kochal – my wife, best friend, and today, my life and business partner.
Together, our business grew fast — from a single location to a successful retail chain across the U.S., and later expanding into Asia (Taiwan).
We also launched a digital brand, and I ended up living in the U.S. for 15 years.
Of course, it wasn’t always smooth sailing.
We faced turbulence, ups and downs, and our share of complex challenges.
But through it all, I chose to invest in myself — in learning, growing, and personal development.
I read books, joined workshops, and eventually became a certified Master NLP Practitioner.
Alongside this journey, I started exploring the world of investing and finance.
I invested in real estate across Israel and Europe — flips, rentals, land deals, and even participated in Israeli land tenders (a whole world of its own).
Then… COVID hit.
The world stopped. And so did I — for a moment.
I had real, quality time with my family.
No long flights. No burnout. Just me, Shelly, and the kids.
And suddenly, something shifted.
The business no longer lit me up like it used to.
The fire was fading, and I knew I needed a change.
I wanted more time — for myself and my family — but I also craved a new kind of passion.
So after some soul-searching… I jumped back in.
I dove into the world of U.S. real estate investing, studying under the one and only Rafi Mizrahi, who gave me the knowledge and tools I needed to begin again — smarter this time.
I blended my two greatest passions: real estate and the U.S.
A space I always knew was my real professional home.
But this time, I came prepared — with experience, a strong team, a clear vision, and fire in my eyes.
Today, I’m a real estate entrepreneur focused on the U.S. market, especially in Texas and Indiana.
I invest, I lead, and I work with true passion and clarity, knowing I’ve finally found my place.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
