Mindset, books and insights - and why should you own a book now?

# Post 4
If they told you that you could study almost any subject in the world, in two or three days for less than $10, while you wait in line at the post office, fold laundry or shop at the supermarket, would you be ready?
To learn from mentors and the most successful people, from their experience, even if they are no longer alive?
Most people won't do that.
There are almost endless amounts of knowledge available to you, almost anything you want you can learn, relatively easily.
Don't say you don't have time, five minutes a day will be enough, five pages. (It will just take longer, but you will get there in the end) Don't know how to implement habits? Oh, I have a book for that
"Books are what you step on to take you to a higher shelf. The higher your stack of books, the higher the shelf you can reach. Want to reach higher? Stack some more books under your feet! Reading is what brings us to new knowledge. It opens new doors. It helps us understand mysteries. It lets us hear from successful people. Reading is what takes us down the road in our journey. Everything you need for a better future and success has already been written."

I will share 12 books for 12 months and how they helped me along the way *
Audio books - personal development
Atomic Habits – James Clear
One of the most recommended books, on how to inculcate habits, is really fun and I heard it while running in the morning - habits are an excellent way to start to become the person you want to be and are the basis for consistency and achieving goals, apart from that they are like automation, releasing a lot of burden from decision making and the difficulty of moving to action
The Compound Effect – Darren Hardy
The cumulative effect of small and consistent actions, an excellent excellent book, I've heard it twice - in the end it's enough to do a little each day, but every day, while pushing to improve, the cumulative effect is enormous
Hello Fears – Michelle Poler
Dealing with fears. A woman decided to face her biggest fears for 100 days and discovered that they are not that scary after all.
Being brave does not mean not being afraid - it means acting in spite of fear.
5 Second Rule – Mel Robbins
Mel Robbins, hit rock bottom, was an alcoholic and poor, but she was able to launch herself out of bed, and motivate herself to uncomfortable and scary, but progressive actions, by counting down (from 5 to 1). The book teaches to do even when we don't feel like it. When it's false and you don't want it. Just count down and remember the "why" and do it anyway.
Synchrodestiny – Deepak Chopra
A charming and recommended book about miracles and coincidences in life, the hidden power of the universe
Professional books published by Bigger Pockets
BRRRR -David Greene
The inventor of the famous strategy explains how to do it in practice
The book on flipping houses – J Scott
A book about flips and how to succeed in them
Managing Rental Properties – Heather & Brandon Turner
A book on self-management of rentals
Short term Rentals, Long Term Wealth – Avery Carl
The Bible of short-term rental, an excellent and practical book
30 days stay – Zeona McIntire & Sarah Weaver
Book a medium-term rental
Books I've read in Hebrew (some are available as digital books)
"One hundred vacation days a year" - Barak Paz Gal and Robert Shemin
On the mindset of living right now the life we want to live
Ido Hajjaj The way to success - Ido Hajjaj
Autobiography of the Israeli real estate developer who founded the Hajj Group - it is mainly interesting how he approached and dealt with things
Secrets of millionaires - Dan Gradiusi
An American real estate developer and his approach to things, for example sending a gift card and a greeting card to good tenants who pay on time once a year
The power of consistency - Weldon Long
The book opens with a criminal telling how he got to prison, it's real, and about a book (in my life) that changed everything for him, today he is a successful millionaire (of course) and contributes to the community, the secret? Consistency, reach every day and don't give up, the changes will be huge
Micro decisions - Caroline L. Arnold
Our day consists of a billion moments of lots and lots of small decisions, all these decisions are what ultimately determines how your life will look - so how do you get better ones?
Mindfulness for beginners -
The gym of character and mind, meditation and mindfulness are muscles in the stomach.
It helps generate resilience, deal with things and make better decisions. Highly recommend.
A millionaire in an instant
A narrative book about mindset real estate and creative financing strategies
I would be happy for recommendations for additional books, also for YouTube lectures, movies and whatever you like
* There are 17 here, sorry, I really tried to reduce...
A subscription to the library will allow you to borrow digital and audio books for free, in addition there are apps that allow you to hear and read unlimited books for a monthly fee
Bonus, if you really don't have the energy to read books (or listen to them) here is a recommendation for an excellent lecture on YouTube
