Intro post – How two young officers turned U.S. real estate into a mission

Hey everyone 🔥
I’m Omer Menashe (25), and my partner is Dor Pollak (23).
We’re both former officers in the Home Front Command — that’s where, between shifts, sleepless war nights, and a lot of responsibility, our connection began.

We didn’t meet through real estate. It all started with a deep friendship in the army and a shared mindset:
We’re not the kind of people who wait for life to happen — we’re the kind who build it.

We didn’t have family in real estate, no American background, and definitely not perfect English.
But we had something else:
Ambition, hunger, a desire to inspire, and the determination to build the lives we’ve always dreamed of.


How it all began

In the middle of the war, when we barely had an hour of free time a day, we spent that hour watching U.S. real estate videos, listening to podcasts, and scrolling through groups like this one — taking inspiration from people doing amazing things overseas.

Pretty quickly, we realized this was something we wanted to be part of — something that could truly change our lives.

So we made a decision: we joined Ittai and Dror’s ClubRRR, and from that moment — we were all in.

For a year and a half, before we even started doing real deals, we immersed ourselves in learning and strategy — how to approach it, what to do, how to build a business plan, how to save money to invest in our company — endless questions we didn’t yet have answers to, but we were excited to start figuring them out.


After the army

Dor finished his service first (November 2024) and set out on an 8-month trip to South America.
A few months later (March 2025), I finished my service and joined him for a while.

Even while hiking in Peru and exploring the world — our minds were elsewhere:
“How do we build a real business around U.S. real estate when we get back? What steps do we need to take? What are our goals?”

We both agreed: when Dor returned in July, we’d go all in.


The turning point

July came. We opened our laptops and built a clear, detailed strategy:
Based on what we’d been preparing for the past year and a half, we already knew how much capital we’d need for operations, how much for living expenses (we planned 12 months of all-in, no side jobs), and — most importantly — that there was no Plan B.
It was either all the way in — or not at all.
As we like to say: “Go big or go home.”

That month, we spent every day (14 hours a day!) turning theory into action — step by step.
We generated deal flow with wholesalers, built a lender database, spoke with agents, researched ZIP codes, studied creative finance strategies (we’ll talk more about that later), and set up the foundations of our company.


What’s happened since?

In one word: Explosion.

We officially became active on August 20, and in just three months we’ve done:

✔️ 3 Creative Finance deals + 1 BRRRR we’re holding — total value over $1.4M
✔️ 2 Wholesale deals — total profit over $18,000
✔️ 2 Seller Finance deals currently in progress — worth another $700K

All that…
With no financial backing and no prior experience.
Just hard daily work, constant learning, a clear strategy — and a knife between our teeth.


Why are we so driven?

Because we want to prove something:
That even if you weren’t born into real estate, even if you have no idea where to start — with determination, discipline, aggressive learning, mental toughness, and a professional, no-compromise work structure — you can move faster than seems possible.
The potential scale is infinite.

That’s our goal for this week:
To share tools, real-world practices, to learn from others here in the community — and above all, to inspire.
