U.S. home prices have risen in the past year due to higher mortgage rates, but Zillow thinks it’s a good time to buy — if you’ve got the budget.

Zillow’s estimate is based on its analysis that a greater proportion of sellers are waiving their asking prices, according to a report Thursday by senior economist Jeff Tucker.
